Comparison review
The Lenovo Tab S8-50 is just a bit better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, with a general score of 59.6 against 57.6. Both of these tablets work with Android OS (Operating System), but Lenovo Tab S8-50 has older 4.4 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. Despite of the fact that the Lenovo Tab S8-50 is older than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, it's design is extremely thinner and somewhat lighter.
The Lenovo Tab S8-50 counts with a better screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD. Both have a display of the same size, the same pixel density and the same exact 1920 x 1200 resolution. Lenovo Tab S8-50's CPU is just as good as the processing unit in Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, although the Lenovo Tab S8-50 has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and 1 GB less RAM.

The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD counts with a much greater memory capacity to store more games and applications than Lenovo Tab S8-50. Both of them have equal internal storage.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features better battery performance than Lenovo Tab S8-50, because it has a 5100mAh battery size against 4290mAh.
Even being the best tablet between the ones we are comparing here, Lenovo Tab S8-50 is also cheaper.
