Both devices in this review have Android OS (operating system), but Motorola Droid XYBoard 8.2 has an older 4.0 version and Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Even being the best portable tablet in this comparison, we must highlight that it is also an extremely older, heavier and somewhat thicker portable tablet.
