Comparison review
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has a global score of 75.2, which is a lot better than the Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD's general score of 57.6. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 is an noticeably older tablet than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner anyway. Both of these tablets have Android operating system, but Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 has the older 4.4.2 version while Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD has Android 6.0 Marshmallow version.
The Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a little better hardware performance than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has an inferior number of cores (although faster) and a lower amount of RAM memory, it also counts with a graphics processor. Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 features a way better looking screen than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because it has a better screen density, a better resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a little bit larger screen.
The Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, although it has worse video frame rate, they both have the same (Full HD) video quality and the same resolution camera. The Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 counts with a quite bigger memory to install games and applications than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, because although it has a SD extension slot that allows 64 GB smaller, it also counts with 16 GB more internal storage capacity.
Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD features a little longer battery performance than Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4, because it has a 5100mAh battery capacity.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 costs more than Verizon Ellipsis 8 HD, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
