ARCHOS 70 Titanium is a modest Android device, counting with a high-tech 1600 MHz Dual-Core CPU and a good size 7 inches capacitive touch-screen. But it's time to get into more details.
Archos has made an excellent design job making the ARCHOS 70 Titanium as lightweight as 9.88 ounces. Even though the ARCHOS 70 Titanium is only 7.8" long, it manages to contain a 7 inches display. The ARCHOS 70 Titanium is just 0.34 inches thick, making its way into the thinnest tablets podium.
This tablet ships with a high speed 1.6 gigahertz Dual-Core processor and only 1 GB RAM memory which is a bit low for a tablet of this level. Graphic rendering usually eats lots of CPU processing time, so it counts with a 266 MHz ARM Mali-400 MP4 graphic processing unit to help the CPU with those tasks. A good point of the ARCHOS 70 Titanium is its quite big 8 GB internal storage and an SD memory card expansion slot, allowing you to install a couple hundred apps without running out of space.
This tablet is equipped with a good 7" display with a 600 x 1024 resolution, giving this tablet device a regular image quality. This display uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch for gestures like pinch and zoom.
The ARCHOS 70 Titanium offers wi-fi connection (although it can't share it with other devices around, as a mobile mobile hotspot). This tablet doesn't use a sim card, because it's not a GSM portable tablet.
