ARCHOS 80 Titanium is a mid level Android portable tablet, packing a 2 MP back side camera, a very fast 1600 megahertz Dual-Core CPU and a 8 inches display.
Archos decided to equip this tablet with an extremely powerful 1.6 gigahertz Dual-Core CPU with only 1 GB of RAM memory which is a little bit disappointing for a tablet this good. To collaborate with graphic calculations, it also counts with a 266 megahertz ARM Mali-400 MP4 GPU. This device has an 8 GB quite large internal storage and a slot for external memory cards, which allows you to store hundreds of apps and games without any problem.
This tablet isn't very light for a portable tablet this size, with a weight of 15.52 oz. This tablet only has 7.87" long, but it is able to fit a a 8" screen. Being just 0.39 inches thick,the ARCHOS 80 Titanium is slim and comfortable.
This tablet includes a nice 8-inches screen with a 768 x 1024 resolution, giving this portable tablet a regular image quality. This screen uses IPS LCD capacitive technology, and allows multi-touch gestures.
The ARCHOS 80 Titanium only features a 2 MP back-facing camera.
This tablet provides WiFi connectivity (but it can't be provided to other devices as a mobile hotspot). The ARCHOS 80 Titanium doesn't use a sim card, because it doesn't support GSM networks.
Archos is offering the ARCHOS 80 Titanium for $ 75, which is not a really offer for this type of tablet device.
