HTC Amaze 4G is a bit better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol, getting a 59.8 score against 54.6. Although it's the best we are comparing here, it must be noted that it is also an older, way thicker and heavier device. These phones come with Android operating system, but the HTC Amaze 4G has an older 4.0 version and Alcatel OneTouch Idol has Android 4.1.1 version.
HTC Amaze 4G has a bit better display than Alcatel OneTouch Idol, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have exactly the same 960 x 540 resolution, the HTC Amaze 4G also counts with a just a bit greater screen density. The HTC Amaze 4G has just a bit better performance than Alcatel OneTouch Idol, and although they both have the same number of cores and the same RAM amount, the HTC Amaze 4G also has a much better graphics co-processor.
The HTC Amaze 4G features a superior camera than Alcatel OneTouch Idol, and although they both have a 8 megapixels camera, the HTC Amaze 4G also has a much better (Full HD) video definition. Alcatel OneTouch Idol and HTC Amaze 4G have incredibly similar storage capacity to install applications and games, both of them have a slot for external memory cards that holds a maximum of 32 GB and exactly the same 16 GB internal storage capacity.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol has a bit superior battery duration than HTC Amaze 4G, because it has a 1800mAh battery capacity.
In addition to being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the HTC Amaze 4G is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
