The Sony Xperia ZR has a score of 65.6, which is slightly better than the Alcatel OneTouch Idol X's 59.7 global score. These devices have Android operating system, but the Sony Xperia ZR has newer 4.4.4 version and Alcatel OneTouch Idol X has Android 4.4.2 version, so it offers a lot of extra features and increased performance. Although it's the best cellphone in this review, it must be told that it is also a notably thicker and somewhat heavier cellphone.
The Xperia ZR and Alcatel OneTouch Idol X both count with extremely similar CPUs, and although the Xperia ZR has a much better 400 megahertz GPU, they both have the same number of cores and 2 GB of RAM memory. Alcatel OneTouch Idol X has a bit sharper screen than Xperia ZR, because it has a bit larger display, a way higher resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a greater count of pixels per display inch.
The Alcatel OneTouch Idol X counts with a slightly better camera than Xperia ZR. Both have the same resolution back-facing camera, the same 1920x1080 video quality and the same video frame rate. The Sony Xperia ZR has as much memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos as Alcatel OneTouch Idol X, both have the same 8 GB internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 32 GB.
Sony Xperia ZR counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Alcatel OneTouch Idol X, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size.
In addition to being the best phone of the ones we compare here, Xperia ZR is also a bargain compared to others.
