Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has an overall score of 85.3, which is slightly better than Huawei P40 Lite's overall score of 79.5. Even though the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max and the Huawei P40 Lite were released with only a couple of months difference, Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max's design is heavier but a little thinner than the Huawei P40 Lite. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with iOS 15.x operating system, while Huawei P40 Lite works with Android 10 operating system.
The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max counts with a superior CPU than Huawei P40 Lite, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and 2 GB less RAM memory, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU. The Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max has a better looking screen than Huawei P40 Lite, because it has a just a little greater pixels density, a bit higher 1242 x 2688px resolution and a little bigger display.
Huawei P40 Lite counts with a much bigger memory to install applications and games than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because it has 128 GB internal memory. Huawei P40 Lite takes a little bit better videos and photos than Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, because although it has worse video frame rate, and they both have the same camera aperture and the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition, the Huawei P40 Lite also counts with a way bigger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos and a lot better resolution camera in the back.
Huawei P40 Lite has just a bit longer battery life than iPhone 11 Pro Max, because it has a 4200mAh battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Huawei P40 Lite, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P40 Lite. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei P40 Lite, resigning some specifications.
