The iPhone 12 Pro Max has a score of 93.2, which is better than the Galaxy S7's general score of 79.5. The iPhone 12 Pro Max design is extremely newer and a bit thinner, but incredibly heavier than the Galaxy S7. IPhone 12 Pro Max features a quite better hardware performance than Samsung Galaxy S7, because it has a higher number of cores, a 64-bit CPU and 2 GB more RAM.
Galaxy S7 counts with a little sharper screen than Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max, because although it has a way smaller display and much darker screen, it also counts with a greater pixel amount per screen inch and a bit higher 1440 x 2560px resolution. IPhone 12 Pro Max shoots slightly better photographs and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, and although they both have a camera in the back with a 12 mega-pixels resolution and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the iPhone 12 Pro Max also has a larger camera aperture to capture better captures and videos in poorly lited situations and higher video frame rate.
The iPhone 12 Pro Max has more memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S7, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with more internal memory capacity. Although Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max is a better device, it costs a lot more than Samsung Galaxy S7, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Samsung Galaxy S7. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Samsung Galaxy S7, and give up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
