Huawei Mate 20 is much better than iPhone 5, having a global score of 79.5 against 71.7. The Huawei Mate 20 comes with Android 9.0 Pie operating system, while iPhone 5 counts with iOS 7.x operating system. Huawei Mate 20's construction is extremely newer, but a bit thicker and extremely heavier than the iPhone 5.
Huawei Mate 20 features a superior hardware performance than iPhone 5, because it has a larger number of cores (and also faster) and a higher amount of RAM. The Apple iPhone 5 features a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 20, although it has a lot lower resolution of 1136 x 640px, a just a little lower pixels count in each inch in the screen, a way smaller display and much more opaque screen.
Huawei Mate 20 counts with a lot bigger storage for games and applications than iPhone 5, because it has 64 GB more internal memory. Huawei Mate 20 features a very superior battery duration than iPhone 5, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity. The Huawei Mate 20 captures much clearer photos and videos than iPhone 5, because it has a lot bigger camera sensor providing a lot better image quality, a way bigger camera aperture to take better low-light captures and video, a lot better 3840x2160 video resolution and a much more mega pixels back camera.
Although Huawei Mate 20 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than iPhone 5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as iPhone 5. So if you need that extra features and specs, you can buy the Huawei Mate 20, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the iPhone 5, letting go a couple features and specs.
