IPhone 7 has a score of 81.6, which is slightly better than Galaxy Note Fan Edition's 80.4 overall score. IPhone 7's body is somewhat lighter and a little bit thinner than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, even though it was released about 10 months before. Galaxy Note Fan Edition features a bit superior processing unit than iPhone 7, because it has more processing cores and 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a bit sharper display than Apple iPhone 7, because it has a bigger display, a lot better pixel quantity per inch in the display and a much better resolution of 1440 x 2560. The iPhone 7 shoots just a bit better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note Fan Edition, although it has a smaller camera aperture and a tinier back camera sensor capturing less light and dull colors, they both have the same (4K) video quality, the same resolution back-facing camera and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate.
Apple iPhone 7 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Galaxy Note Fan Edition counts with a superior battery performance than iPhone 7, because it has 3200mAh of battery capacity instead of 1960mAh.
Although iPhone 7 is a better device, it costs more money than the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Galaxy Note Fan Edition. If you prefer to save some money, you can get the Galaxy Note Fan Edition, giving up a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your budget.
