Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 Plus has an overall score of 87.1, which is just a bit better than Huawei P20 Pro's global score of 81.4. The Apple iPhone 8 Plus body is just a little thinner but heavier than the Huawei P20 Pro, and they were only released 6 months apart. IPhone 8 Plus features a little more vivid display than Huawei P20 Pro, although it has a quite smaller display, a bit worse 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution and a just a little less pixels per inch in the screen.
IPhone 8 Plus counts with just a bit better processing power than Huawei P20 Pro, because although it has 2 lesser CPU cores (but faster) and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processing unit. The Huawei P20 Pro shoots much better photographs and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has slower 30 fps video frame rates, and they both have a same size aperture and the same (4K) video quality, the Huawei P20 Pro also counts with a back-facing camera with way more megapixels and a lot larger sensor shooting way higher quality videos and photos.
IPhone 8 Plus has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than Huawei P20 Pro, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The Huawei P20 Pro features a way better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8 Plus, because it has a 49% larger battery size.
Although iPhone 8 Plus is a better device, it costs a lot more than Huawei P20 Pro, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Huawei P20 Pro. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy iPhone 8 Plus, otherwise you can save some money and get the Huawei P20 Pro, resigning a couple specs and features.
