IPhone 8 Plus has a score of 87.1, which is much better than the Xperia XZs's score of 77.2. The iPhone 8 Plus design is much heavier but a little bit thinner than Xperia XZs, and both were released with only 6 months difference. IPhone 8 Plus features a little bit better looking screen than Xperia XZs, because although it has a just a bit worse pixel number in each display inch, and they both have an equal 1080 x 1920 resolution, the iPhone 8 Plus also counts with a little bit larger screen.
The iPhone 8 Plus features a better CPU than Xperia XZs, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit and a greater number of faster cores. Xperia XZs captures a lot better photos and videos than iPhone 8 Plus, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZs also counts with better 960 fps video frame rate, a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which offers a way higher photo and video quality and a back-facing camera with lot more megapixels.
IPhone 8 Plus has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XZs, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with more internal memory. The Xperia XZs has just a bit longer battery duration than iPhone 8 Plus, because it has an 8% more battery size.
The iPhone 8 Plus costs more money than the Xperia XZs, but it's still a convenient choice, because you can get a better phone for that extra money.
