The iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is much better than HTC U Ultra's 77 score. IPhone 8 is a a little thinner and somewhat lighter cellphone than HTC U Ultra, even when both of them were released only 7 months apart. The iPhone 8 has a greater processing power than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with a 64-bit processor and a greater number of cores (and faster).
HTC U Ultra features a bit more vivid screen than iPhone 8, because it has a larger screen, a lot higher pixels number per inch of screen and a much better 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution. The iPhone 8 captures clearer photos and videos than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a lot tinier back camera sensor giving a much worse image quality, and they both have a F1.8 aperture, a same resolution back facing camera and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the iPhone 8 also counts with faster 60 fps video frame rates.
HTC U Ultra counts with a greater memory to store more apps and games than iPhone 8, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. HTC U Ultra features a way better battery performance than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 3000mAh battery size.
The Apple iPhone 8 costs a little more money than the HTC U Ultra, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
