Comparison review
The iPhone SE (2020) has an overall score of 81.5, which is a bit better than the HTC One M9's global score of 77.7. The iPhone SE (2020) is a much newer cellphone, and it is also just a little lighter and notably thinner than the HTC One M9. The iPhone SE (2020) comes with iOS 15.x operating system, and HTC One M9 comes with Android 5.0 operating system.
The HTC One M9 has a brighter screen than Apple iPhone SE (2020), because it has a much better 1920 x 1080 resolution, a greater pixels density and a little larger screen. The HTC One M9 features just a bit more storage to install applications and games than Apple iPhone SE (2020), because although it has less internal storage, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 128 GB.
IPhone SE (2020) features a little better processing power than HTC One M9, although it has doesn't have an additional graphics processor and 2 lesser processing cores (although they are faster), they both have a 64 bits CPU and 3 GB of RAM memory. The HTC One M9 counts with a camera that is just as good as the camera in iPhone SE (2020), because although the HTC One M9 has lower video frame rates and a tinier aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, it also counts with a back camera with a much better resolution and a lot larger camera sensor providing a lot higher image quality.
The HTC One M9 has a really longer battery life than Apple iPhone SE (2020), because it has a 56% larger battery size.
Although Apple iPhone SE (2020) is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the HTC One M9, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as HTC One M9. If you want to save some dollars, you can buy the HTC One M9, letting go a couple features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
