Comparison review
The Apple iPhone 8 has an overall score of 85, which is just a bit better than iPhone XS Max's global score of 84.5. The Apple iPhone 8 body is lighter and a little thinner than the iPhone XS Max, although it was released a bit more more than a year before. IPhone XS Max features a little more vivid display than iPhone 8, and although they both have the same brightness, the iPhone XS Max also has a way larger screen, a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display and a lot higher 1242 x 2688 pixels resolution.
IPhone XS Max counts with just a bit better processing power than iPhone 8, and although they both have 6 CPU cores and a 64-bit processing unit, the iPhone XS Max also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The iPhone 8's camera is just as good as the iPhone XS Max one, and although the iPhone 8 has a smaller camera sensor capturing worse quality videos and photographs, they both have the same video frame rates, a F1.8 aperture, the same (4K) video quality and a same resolution back facing camera.
IPhone 8 has a much bigger memory to store more games and applications than iPhone XS Max, because it has 256 GB internal memory capacity. The iPhone XS Max features a way better battery lifetime than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 75% larger battery size.
Even being the best phone of the ones we compare here, iPhone 8 is also by far the cheapest.
