The Galaxy Note9 has a score of 87.1, which is a little bit better than Apple iPhone XS Max's 84.5 overall score. The Galaxy Note9 body is just a bit lighter but thicker than Apple iPhone XS Max, and both of them were only released 1 months apart. Apple iPhone XS Max has a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and an inferior number of slower cores, it also counts with a 64-bit CPU.
IPhone XS Max counts with just a bit better looking screen than Galaxy Note9, because although it has a bit worse 1242 x 2688px resolution and a bit lower pixel quantity per inch in the screen, it also counts with a bit bigger screen. Galaxy Note9 features a superior memory capacity for apps and games than Apple iPhone XS Max, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 captures just a bit better photos and videos than Apple iPhone XS Max, and although they both have a same size camera sensor, the same 60 frames per second video frame rates, the same video resolution and a 12 MP back camera, the Samsung Galaxy Note9 also has a bigger diafragm aperture to take better photos and video in poorly lited situations.
The Samsung Galaxy Note9 counts with superior battery duration than iPhone XS Max, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity.
