Comparison review
IPhone XS has a score of 84.2, which is a little bit better than Galaxy Note8's 83 overall score. IPhone XS's body is newer, somewhat thinner and just a bit lighter than Galaxy Note8. The iPhone XS has just a bit better processing power than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM and less cores , it also counts with a 64 bits processing unit.
The Apple iPhone XS counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy Note8, although it has a little inferior quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a little smaller display and a lot worse 1125 x 2436 pixels resolution. Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a much better memory to install applications and games than iPhone XS, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB.
Apple iPhone XS counts with a slightly better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same back camera sensor size and a back facing camera with a 12 mega pixels resolution, the Apple iPhone XS also counts with better 60 fps video frame rate.
Galaxy Note8 features superior battery duration than iPhone XS, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity instead of 2659mAh.
Although Apple iPhone XS is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Samsung Galaxy Note8. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Apple iPhone XS, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Samsung Galaxy Note8, giving up a couple features and specs.
