Xperia S is a bit better than the Asus PadFone, getting a score of 63.8 against 58.2. Although Xperia S is better than Asus PadFone, we must highlight that it is also a heavier and somewhat thicker cellphone. Both phones in this comparison review work with Android OS (operating system), but the Xperia S has a more recent 4.1 version and Asus PadFone has Android 4.0.3 version, so it provides some extra features and optimized performance.
Asus PadFone counts with a little faster CPU than Xperia S, and although they both have a Dual-Core processing unit and 1 GB of RAM memory, the Asus PadFone also has a better GPU. Xperia S counts with a more vivid display than Asus PadFone, and although they both have a same size screen, the Xperia S also has a better display density and a better 1280 x 720 pixels resolution.
The Sony Xperia S features a slightly better storage for games and applications than Asus PadFone, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 32 GB internal storage capacity. Xperia S counts with a little longer battery lifetime than Asus PadFone, because it has 1750mAh of battery capacity against 1520mAh.
Xperia S shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Asus PadFone, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is worse for low light photography and slower 29 fps video frame rate, and they both have the same (Full HD) video definition, the Xperia S also counts with a lot more megapixels camera in the back.
The Xperia S is not only the best phones in our comparison, but it's also a bargain compared to the other ones.
