Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is a little bit better than the Sony Xperia 1 III, getting a global score of 94 against 93.3. Even though Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate is better than Sony Xperia 1 III, it must be told that it's also notably thicker and heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate features just a little better hardware performance than Xperia 1 III, and although they both have a Octa-Core CPU, the Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate also has a greater amount of RAM.
The Xperia 1 III counts with a slightly better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 5 Ultimate, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a way better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen and a much higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 pixels.
