The Asus ROG Phone 5 has a general score of 84.7, which is a little bit better than the Xperia 5's global score of 81. The Asus ROG Phone 5 body is newer, but incredibly thicker and incredibly heavier than Xperia 5. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a processing unit that's very similar to Asus ROG Phone 5's processing unit, and although the Sony Xperia 5 has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Asus ROG Phone 5 features a bit more vivid screen than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a just a little less pixels per inch in the display and a little bit worse 1080 x 2448px resolution, it also counts with a bit larger screen. Xperia 5 counts with much more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Xperia 5 also has a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 512 GB.
Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a very superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 5, because it has a 91 percent larger battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 5 counts with a very superior camera than Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not favorable for shooting images or videos in poorly lited environments, it also counts with a back camera with a much better 64 mega pixels resolution, a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution and a much bigger back camera sensor which offers a much higher image and video quality.
