Comparison review
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro is just a bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5s, with a global score of 90.9 against 84.9. The Huawei Mate 40 Pro body is a little thinner and somewhat lighter than Asus ROG Phone 5s, although it was released around 10 months before. Both devices in this review include Android OS (operating system), but Huawei Mate 40 Pro has older 10 version and Asus ROG Phone 5s has Android 12 version.
Huawei Mate 40 Pro has a bit better CPU than Asus ROG Phone 5s. They have a Octa-Core processor and 8 GB of RAM memory. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features just a bit better screen than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, although it has a bit worse 1080 x 2448 resolution and a little bit less pixels per screen inch, they both have a same size screen.
The Huawei Mate 40 Pro features a superior memory to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because it has more internal memory. Asus ROG Phone 5s takes slightly better photos and videos than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because although it has a much smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting much lower quality photographs and videos, it also counts with a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution, a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a larger diafragm aperture.
Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a really longer battery lifetime than Huawei Mate 40 Pro, because it has a 6000mAh battery size instead of 4400mAh.
