The Asus ROG Phone 5s is a little bit better than LG G8 ThinQ, with a global score of 84.9 against 84.3. Both phones in this review include Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 5s has older 12 version and LG G8 ThinQ has Android 9.0 Pie. Asus ROG Phone 5s is a way newer phone than the LG G8 ThinQ, although it is noticeably heavier and thicker.

Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than LG G8 ThinQ, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a greater amount of RAM. The LG G8 ThinQ counts with just a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has much worse brightness and a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better display density and a higher 1440 x 3120px resolution.

LG G8 ThinQ has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5s, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the LG G8 ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB. Asus ROG Phone 5s takes a lot better videos and photos than LG G8 ThinQ, because although it has a tinier camera aperture which is not so good for low-light photos and videos, it also counts with a lot bigger sensor which gives a way better photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a lot higher 7680x4320 video resolution.

Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a much better battery performance than LG G8 ThinQ, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity.
