The Asus ROG Phone 5s has an overall score of 84.9, which is a bit better than LG G8X ThinQ's 82.7 global score. Even though the Asus ROG Phone 5s is newer than LG G8X ThinQ, it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both phones in this review come with Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 5s has a more recent 12 version and LG G8X ThinQ has Android 10.

The Asus ROG Phone 5s has a little faster processor than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have 8 cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a greater amount of RAM. The Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG G8X ThinQ, because although it has a little bit worse pixel count in each inch of screen, it also counts with a little bit larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2448 resolution.

The Asus ROG Phone 5s shoots greater pictures and videos than LG G8X ThinQ, and although they both have a same size diafragm aperture, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a way higher video resolution, a much larger sensor which provides a way better photo and video quality and a back facing camera with a way higher resolution.

LG G8X ThinQ has a much bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5s, and although they both have equal 128 GB internal memory capacity, the LG G8X ThinQ also has a slot for SD memory cards that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ROG Phone 5s features a much better battery performance than LG G8X ThinQ, because it has a 50% bigger battery size.
