Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5s, having an 85.2 score against 84.9. The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is an notably older cellphone than the Asus ROG Phone 5s, but Samsung was able to build it noticeably lighter and thinner anyway. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a brighter screen than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a little bigger screen, a bit higher quantity of pixels per inch in the display and a slightly higher resolution of 1080 x 2448px.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) counts with a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Asus ROG Phone 5s, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) also has a SD memory card expansion slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a little bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A9 (2018), and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has 2 GB more RAM.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s takes much clearer pictures and videos than Galaxy A9 (2018), because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not favorable for taking pictures and/or video in low light environments, it also counts with a lot more mega pixels camera in the back, a much higher 7680x4320 video definition and a much larger back camera sensor capturing lot better quality pictures and videos.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s has a way better battery performance than Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018), because it has a 58 percent more battery size.
