Asus ROG Phone 5s is better than Galaxy J7 Max, with an 84.9 score against 76.1. Both devices in this review include Android OS (Operating System), but the Asus ROG Phone 5s has older 12 version and Galaxy J7 Max has Android 7.0 Nougat. The Asus ROG Phone 5s design is newer, but incredibly heavier and somewhat thicker than the Galaxy J7 Max.
Asus ROG Phone 5s features a more vivid display than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has a bit greater pixels density, a little higher 1080 x 2448 resolution and a bigger screen. Asus ROG Phone 5s has a bit better processing unit than Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also has a higher amount of RAM.
Asus ROG Phone 5s has a bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has no external memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage capacity. Asus ROG Phone 5s has a very superior battery life than Galaxy J7 Max, because it has an 82 percent more battery size.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s shoots much better photographs and videos than Galaxy J7 Max, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for low-light photography, it also counts with a back facing camera with a lot better 64 megapixels resolution and a lot better 7680x4320 video quality.
