Comparison review
Sony Xperia 1 II is just a bit better than the Asus ROG Phone 5s, with a score of 91 against 84.9. These phones work with Android OS, but the Sony Xperia 1 II has the older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 5s has Android 12 version. Sony Xperia 1 II's construction is incredibly thinner and lighter than the Asus ROG Phone 5s, despite of the fact that it was released around 15 months before.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a bit more powerful processor than Xperia 1 II. Both of them have a Octa-Core CPU and a 8 GB RAM. Xperia 1 II features a slightly better screen than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a much better resolution of 1644 x 3840px and way more pixels per inch of screen.
The Asus ROG Phone 5s takes way better videos and photos than Xperia 1 II, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not nice for taking images and/or video in low light environments, and they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also counts with a back camera with way more megapixels and a lot better video resolution.
Sony Xperia 1 II counts with a way bigger memory capacity for games and applications than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because it has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1000 GB and 128 GB more internal storage capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features a really longer battery performance than Xperia 1 II, because it has a 6000mAh battery size.
