Comparison review
The Xperia 1 III is a little bit better than Asus ROG Phone 5s, getting a score of 93.3 against 84.9. The Xperia 1 III is a thinner and a lot lighter phone than Asus ROG Phone 5s, although both were released only 2 months apart. Both of these phones include Android operating system, but Xperia 1 III has the older 11 version while Asus ROG Phone 5s has Android 12 version.
Xperia 1 III has a processor that's very similar to Asus ROG Phone 5s's CPU, and although the Xperia 1 III has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xperia 1 III counts with a little bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 1644 x 3840 and a lot greater pixel density.
Sony Xperia 1 III counts with a much greater memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because it has 128 GB more internal storage capacity and a SD memory card expansion slot that holds up to 1 TB. The Asus ROG Phone 5s features superior battery lifetime than Xperia 1 III, because it has a 6000mAh battery size against 4500mAh.
Asus ROG Phone 5s has a better camera than Sony Xperia 1 III, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not so good for taking images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have a 0.59 inches back camera sensor, the Asus ROG Phone 5s also counts with a way higher video resolution and a back-facing camera with a much better 64 megapixels resolution.
