Asus ROG Phone 5s is just a bit better than Xperia XZ2 Compact, having a general score of 84.9 against 79. Both of these phones work with Android OS (operating system), but Asus ROG Phone 5s has 12 version and Xperia XZ2 Compact has Android 8.0 Oreo. Asus ROG Phone 5s's construction is much newer and thinner than the Xperia XZ2 Compact's, although it's heavier.
Xperia XZ2 Compact has a bit better display than Asus ROG Phone 5s, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2160, much less brightness and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a quite greater pixel quantity per screen inch. Asus ROG Phone 5s counts with a way better battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 6000mAh of battery capacity against 2870mAh.
