The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is slightly better than the LG V50 ThinQ, getting an 84.2 score against 83.7. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro body is extremely newer than the LG V50 ThinQ's, although it is heavier and just a little thicker. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but the Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version and LG V50 ThinQ has Android 10 version.

LG V50 ThinQ counts with a much better performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 10 GB less RAM, they both have 8 cores. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a bit more vivid screen than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has much lesser pixels per inch of display and a lot lower 1080 x 2400 resolution, it also counts with a quite larger display.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with a much better camera than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has a much smaller diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing photos and videos in low light situations, it also counts with a way better 50 MP resolution back camera, a lot better 7680x4320 video resolution and a much larger sensor capturing much higher quality videos and photos.

The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has just a bit bigger memory for applications and games than LG V50 ThinQ, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal memory capacity. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a much better battery performance than LG V50 ThinQ, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 4000mAh.
