Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a general score of 84.2, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ2's 79.1 general score. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro design is notably newer and incredibly thinner than the Xperia XZ2's, although it's somewhat heavier. The Sony Xperia XZ2 has a much more powerful CPU than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has 12 GB lesser RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a little sharper display than Xperia XZ2, because although it has a bit lower pixel density, it also counts with much more brightness, a larger display and a quite better 1080 x 2400 resolution. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much better camera than Xperia XZ2, because it has a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light photos, a back camera with a much better 50 megapixels resolution, a way better 7680x4320 video definition and a way bigger back-facing camera sensor shooting much higher quality pictures.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a very superior storage to store more apps and games than Xperia XZ2, because although it has no SD extension slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a way better battery life than Xperia XZ2, because it has a 73% bigger battery size.
