Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 is slightly better than the Xiaomi Mi Max 2, getting a 79.5 score against 77.5. Asus ROG Phone 8's design is a lot newer than Xiaomi Mi Max 2's, although it's somewhat thicker and a little bit heavier. The Asus ROG Phone 8 features a lot better looking screen than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a little larger display, a little greater screen pixel density and a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 has just a bit bigger memory capacity to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because although it has no slot for an external memory card, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Mi Max 2 has a much greater hardware performance than Asus ROG Phone 8, although it has 8 GB less RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity. Asus ROG Phone 8 has a very superior camera than Xiaomi Mi Max 2, because it has a back-facing camera with way more mega-pixels, a much better video definition, a larger aperture to capture better low-light photography and video and a much bigger back-facing camera sensor which gives a lot better image and video quality.
