Comparison review
Xperia XZ2 Compact has an overall score of 79, which is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL)'s 74.5 global score. Even being the best device in this comparison review, we must highlight that it is also a noticeably thicker and just a little bit heavier device. Both devices in this review use Android operating system, but the Xperia XZ2 Compact has older 8.0 Oreo version and Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact features a bit better display than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), because although it has a little bit smaller display and a quite lower 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch and more brightness. The Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) features a much better storage for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) also has a SD card slot that admits up to 1,95 TB.
The Xperia XZ2 Compact counts with a little better processing power than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), although it has a smaller amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cpu cores. Xperia XZ2 Compact takes a bit better pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not recommended for taking pictures or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same video definition, the Xperia XZ2 Compact also counts with faster 60 frames per second video frame rates, a bigger sensor and a back camera with a lot higher resolution.
Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Xperia XZ2 Compact, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2870mAh.
