Comparison review
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has a general score of 76.1, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL)'s overall score of 74.5. Although TCL 20 Pro 5G is a lot newer than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), it's somewhat thicker and somewhat heavier. Both of these devices use Android OS (operating system), but the TCL 20 Pro 5G has 11 version and Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) has Android 9.0 Pie.
The Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL) has a little more vivid screen than TCL 20 Pro 5G, because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit worse resolution of 1080 x 2246, it also counts with a bit more pixels per screen inch. TCL 20 Pro 5G features a bit better processor than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL). Both of them have a 6 GB RAM and the same number of cores.
TCL 20 Pro 5G counts with a superior storage to store more games and applications than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), because although it has a slot for an external memory card that holds up to 1 TB against 1,95 TB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. The TCL 20 Pro 5G captures much better videos and photos than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the same 30 fps video frame rate and a F1.8 camera aperture, the TCL 20 Pro 5G also has a lot bigger sensor providing a much better image quality and a much better 48 MP resolution camera in the back.
The TCL 20 Pro 5G has improved battery duration than Asus ZenFone 5 (ZE620KL), because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity.
