Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a global score of 90.5, which is a lot better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's score of 75.3. Even though the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G is newer than the Asus ZenFone 5z, it is heavier and somewhat thicker. Asus ZenFone 5z features a little sharper screen than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, although it has a little bit worse pixels number in each inch of screen, a bit worse 1080 x 2246 resolution and a little bit smaller screen.
Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has an external memory card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a processor that's just as good as the processor in Asus ZenFone 5z, both of them have the same RAM memory amount and a Octa-Core processor.
The Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has improved battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity. Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G has a lot better camera than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same 60 frames per second video frame rate, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro 5G also has a much bigger back-facing camera sensor taking way better quality photographs and a larger aperture for better photos in low light situations.
