Comparison review

The LG V30S ThinQ has an overall score of 82.5, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone 5z's score of 75.3. The LG V30S ThinQ is a just a little thinner and a bit lighter phone than Asus ZenFone 5z, even though they were released with only a couple months difference. The LG V30S ThinQ counts with a slightly better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a greater pixel density.

The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with a bit better CPU than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has a greater amount of RAM memory. The Asus ZenFone 5z counts with more memory capacity for games and applications than LG V30S ThinQ, and although they both have a SD extension slot that allows up to 1,95 TB, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has 128 GB more internal memory.

The LG V30S ThinQ's battery life is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 5z one. LG V30S ThinQ shoots way better photographs and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, because although it has a tinier camera sensor taking lower quality videos and photographs and slower video frame rates, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the LG V30S ThinQ also counts with a larger diafragm aperture to take better low light captures and video.

Although LG V30S ThinQ is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 5z, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Asus ZenFone 5z. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Asus ZenFone 5z, giving up a few specs and features, but you will get the most with your budget.
