Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 is much better than the Asus ZenFone 5z, getting an 83.3 score against 75.3. The Xiaomi Mi 8 body has the same thickness than the Asus ZenFone 5z, but it's just a little bit heavier. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit better looking display than Asus ZenFone 5z, and although they both have a display with the same size and the same pixel density, the Xiaomi Mi 8 also has a slightly better 1080 x 2248px resolution and a little more brightness.
The Asus ZenFone 5z has a much bigger memory capacity to store more games and applications than Xiaomi Mi 8, and although they both have exactly the same 256 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone 5z also has an external SD slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Xiaomi Mi 8's CPU is very similar to the Asus ZenFone 5z one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 8 has less RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 takes greater pictures and videos than Asus ZenFone 5z, although it has slower 30 fps video frame rate, they both have the same (4K) video definition, the same camera aperture and the same back camera sensor size. The Xiaomi Mi 8 counts with a bit superior battery lifetime than Asus ZenFone 5z, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity against 3300mAh.
