The Xperia 1 is a little bit better than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), having an 82.6 score against 77.8. Although the Xperia 1 and Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) were released only a couple months apart, the Xperia 1 is just a bit lighter and somewhat thinner. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) and Sony Xperia 1 both have extremely similar processing units, they have a 6 GB RAM memory and 8 cores.

Xperia 1 counts with a brighter screen than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), because it has a much higher 1644 x 3840 resolution, a much greater screen density and a little bit larger screen. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with slightly more memory for applications and games than Xperia 1, because although it has 0 less internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) counts with a superior battery life than Sony Xperia 1, because it has a 50% greater battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) takes better photographs and videos than Xperia 1, because although it has a smaller aperture which is worse for low-light images, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also counts with a back camera with a way better resolution, faster 60 frames per second video frame rates and a much larger back-facing camera sensor capturing lot better quality videos and photographs.

Although Xperia 1 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). So if you want that extra features and specs, you can buy the Xperia 1, otherwise you can save some dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), letting go some features and specifications.
