Comparison review
Xperia 1 II is slightly better than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, having a overall score of 91 against 88.3. Even though the Xperia 1 II and Asus ZenFone 7 Pro were released only 3 months apart, the Xperia 1 II is thinner and a lot lighter. Both phones in this review work with the same Android 11 OS (operating system), so you shouldn't notice any differences regarding OS features.
The Sony Xperia 1 II features a little bit better looking screen than Asus ZenFone 7 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a way higher 1644 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much greater pixels count per display inch. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has a bit more storage for applications and games than Xperia 1 II, and although they both have equal 256 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also has a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone 7 Pro counts with a little faster CPU than Xperia 1 II. They have 8 GB of RAM and 8 cores. Asus ZenFone 7 Pro has superior battery lifetime than Sony Xperia 1 II, because it has a 25 percent larger battery capacity. The Asus ZenFone 7 Pro takes much better photos and videos than Sony Xperia 1 II, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is worse for low light captures, and they both have a same size sensor, the Asus ZenFone 7 Pro also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega-pixels and a lot higher video definition.
