Comparison review
The Asus ZenFone AR has a global score of 77.4, which is a little bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s's general score of 76.4. Even though Asus ZenFone AR is newer than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, it is somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a little more vivid display than Asus ZenFone AR, although it has a quite lower pixel density, a way worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a bit smaller display.
Asus ZenFone AR has a much better memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have exactly the same 128 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone AR also has an external SD slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. The Xiaomi Mi 5s has a processor that's just as good as the Asus ZenFone AR one, and although the Xiaomi Mi 5s has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have the same number of cores.
The Asus ZenFone AR has just a bit longer battery lifetime than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity. Asus ZenFone AR shoots a bit better photographs and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has slower video frame rates and a tinier back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and images, and they both have a same size diafragm aperture and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Asus ZenFone AR also counts with a back facing camera with a way better resolution.
