Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy J8 has a score of 76.7, which is slightly better than the Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s 71.6 global score. Although it's the best in our current comparison, we must highlight that it's also a a little heavier and a little bit thicker phone. Both phones in our current comparison use Android OS (operating system), but the Samsung Galaxy J8 has 10 version while Asus ZenFone Max (M2) has Android 9.0 Pie version.

Samsung Galaxy J8 has a screen that is just as good as Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s screen, because although the Samsung Galaxy J8 has a little bit smaller display and a bit lower resolution of 720 x 1480px, it also counts with a little more pixels per inch of display. The Galaxy J8's processor is very similar to Asus ZenFone Max (M2)'s CPU, both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM.

Asus ZenFone Max (M2) counts with a superior storage to store more apps and games than Galaxy J8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage, the Asus ZenFone Max (M2) also has a SD card slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Asus ZenFone Max (M2) features a bit longer battery lifetime than Galaxy J8, because it has a 4000mAh battery capacity instead of 3500mAh.

Galaxy J8 features a camera that is very similar to the Asus ZenFone Max (M2) one, and although the Galaxy J8 has a back-facing camera with more megapixels and a larger camera aperture, they both have the same 1920x1080 (Full HD) video definition and the same video frame rate.
