Comparison review

Galaxy Alpha is a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with a score of 76.3 against 73.1. Galaxy Alpha's construction is a lot thinner and notably lighter than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). Both phones we are comparing here have Android OS (Operating System), but Galaxy Alpha has older 4.4.4 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie.

The Galaxy Alpha counts with a little bit better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a display that is very similar to the screen in Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although the Samsung Galaxy Alpha has a lot smaller screen, a little lower pixel density and a way lower resolution of 1280 x 720px.

Galaxy Alpha has a little bit better camera than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it has a worse video resolution and a lesser MP back camera, they both have the same aperture. Although Samsung Galaxy Alpha is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy Alpha, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), resigning a couple features and specs.
