The Galaxy S6 Active has a global score of 80.9, which is better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1)'s 73.1 global score. Both phones in this review work with Android OS, but the Galaxy S6 Active has the previous 5.0 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie. The Galaxy S6 Active is a just a little thicker but a lot lighter phone than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1).

The Galaxy S6 Active features a much better screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a higher 2560 x 1440 resolution and a better quantity of pixels per inch in the screen. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Samsung Galaxy S6 Active, because it has 64 GB internal memory capacity.

The Galaxy S6 Active features a superior processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, and they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Galaxy S6 Active also counts with a 64 bits processor and an extra GPU. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has a much longer battery life than Galaxy S6 Active, because it has a 43 percent bigger battery size.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) shoots better photographs and videos than Galaxy S6 Active, although it has a worse 3840x2160 video definition, a lower resolution camera in the back and a tinier camera aperture which is not recommended for low light captures.

The Galaxy S6 Active costs more than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), but it's still a good choice, as you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
