Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is much better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), having a global score of 81 against 73.1. The Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a newer cellphone than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), although it is somewhat heavier and thicker. Both of these devices use Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro has 11 version while Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie.
Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a slightly better looking screen than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, although it has a little bit lower pixel density, a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and a quite smaller display. The Galaxy XCover Pro has a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). They have the same RAM amount and 8 cpu cores.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has greater battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity instead of 4050mAh.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). So if you want that extra specs, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro, otherwise you can save some money and get the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), letting go some specifications.
