Comparison review
Sony Xperia Z5 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), with a 77.6 score against 73.1. Despite of the fact that Sony Xperia Z5 is extremely older than the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), it's design is thinner and lighter. Both phones we are comparing here include Android operating system, but Sony Xperia Z5 has 5.1 version and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) has Android 9.0 Pie version.
Sony Xperia Z5 features a bit better processing power than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have the same number of cores, the Sony Xperia Z5 also counts with an extra graphics co-processor. The Xperia Z5 has just a bit better screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a quite smaller screen and a bit lower 1920 x 1080 resolution, it also counts with a little higher pixels count in each inch of screen.

The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a very superior battery performance than Xperia Z5, because it has 5000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia Z5 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1). If you want to save some money, you can buy the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), letting go a couple features and specs, but you'll get the most with your savings.
