Comparison review
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE is a bit better than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), getting a score of 75.9 against 73.1. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE design is just a little lighter and a little thinner than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), even when both were released with only a couple of months difference. The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE counts with Android OS, and Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) works with Android 9.0 Pie OS.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has a bit more vivid screen than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a brighter screen, a bit greater pixels number per inch of display and a quite better 1080 x 2244 resolution. Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) counts with a much bigger memory capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) also has a slot for an SD memory card that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE has just a little better hardware performance than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE also has a greater amount of RAM. The Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1) features a really longer battery life than Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, because it has a 5000mAh battery size.
Xiaomi Mi 8 SE takes slightly better photos and videos than Asus ZenFone Max Pro (M1), because although it has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and a worse resolution back-facing camera, it also counts with a larger aperture to take better low light images and video.
