Comparison review
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 is slightly better than BlackBerry Passport, getting a global score of 74.6 against 68.7. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8's construction is thinner and a bit lighter than BlackBerry Passport. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 comes with Android 10 operating system, and BlackBerry Passport works with BlackBerry 10 operating system.
The BlackBerry Passport has a brighter screen than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has a way smaller screen and a bit lower resolution of 1440 x 1440px, it also counts with a quite better number of pixels per inch in the display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 features as much storage capacity to store more apps and games as the BlackBerry Passport, they have a SD memory card expansion slot that admits up to 128 GB and exactly the same internal storage capacity.
BlackBerry Passport has a little better processing power than Xiaomi Redmi Note 8, because although it has less CPU cores (but faster), and they both have a 3 GB RAM memory, the BlackBerry Passport also counts with a graphics processor. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a bit superior battery performance than BlackBerry Passport, because it has a 16% greater battery capacity.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 has a much better camera than BlackBerry Passport, because it has a bigger camera aperture for better photos and videos in poorly lited environments, a back facing camera with way more mega pixels and a much higher video quality.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 costs a bit more than BlackBerry Passport, but it's still a great deal, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
