The Galaxy Young is just a bit better than BlackBerry Torch 9860, getting a general score of 54.9 against 50.1. Galaxy Young is a newer and somewhat lighter phone than the BlackBerry Torch 9860, but it's a little bit thicker. The Galaxy Young works with Android 4.1.2 OS, and BlackBerry Torch 9860 works with BlackBerry 7 OS.

The BlackBerry Torch 9860 features a little better performance than Galaxy Young, although it has doesn't have an extra GPU, they both have a 768 MB RAM and a Single-Core processor. The BlackBerry Torch 9860 counts with a much better display than Galaxy Young, because it has a better pixel density, a little bit larger screen and a way higher 800 x 480px resolution.

Galaxy Young counts with a bigger storage to install applications and games than BlackBerry Torch 9860, and although they both have exactly the same internal memory capacity, the Galaxy Young also has a SD memory slot that holds up to 64 GB. Galaxy Young features just a bit longer battery performance than BlackBerry Torch 9860, because it has a 1300mAh battery size instead of 1230mAh.

The Galaxy Young features a slightly better camera than BlackBerry Torch 9860, although it has a back facing camera with much less MP resolution and a lot lower video quality.
