Samsung Galaxy A42 is much better than Blackview BV8100, with a global score of 87 against 74.5. These phones include Android operating system, but Samsung Galaxy A42 has older 11 version while Blackview BV8100 has Android 14 version. The Samsung Galaxy A42 body is a lot thinner and a lot lighter than the Blackview BV8100, despite of the fact that it was released many years before.
Blackview BV8100 counts with a lot better looking screen than Galaxy A42, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher screen density and a much higher resolution of 1080 x 2400. Blackview BV8100 features much more memory to install games and applications than Galaxy A42, because it has an external memory slot that allows a maximum of 1 TB and 128 GB more internal storage capacity.
Blackview BV8100 features a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A42, and although they both have 8 cpu cores, the Blackview BV8100 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Blackview BV8100 has a very superior battery duration than Galaxy A42, because it has an 8800mAh battery size. Galaxy A42 captures much clearer videos and photos than Blackview BV8100, although it has a back facing camera with less mega-pixels resolution.
