Comparison review
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than the Fairphone 5, getting a global score of 84.2 against 75.5. These devices come with Android OS, but Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a more recent 14 version while Fairphone 5 has Android 13 version. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro design is a bit heavier but just a little bit thinner than Fairphone 5, and both of them were released with only 4 months difference.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a bit more vivid screen than Fairphone 5, because although it has a little worse 1080 x 2400 resolution and a little worse screen density, it also counts with a really brighter display and a quite larger display. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much greater storage to install games and applications than Fairphone 5, because it has more internal storage capacity.
Fairphone 5 features a much better performing processing unit than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with better battery performance than Fairphone 5, because it has a 5500mAh battery capacity against 4200mAh.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro takes way better pictures and videos than Fairphone 5, although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor shooting worse quality videos and photos, they both have a F1.9 aperture and a 50 MP resolution back camera.
